Thanks for the pics.
Wow, its been a while! So it's been a pretty slow month, not too many trash piles or anything. I scraped together all the scrap I had today and took it down to the yard. 500 LBS of shred and non-ferrous and got $125. I then bought a 360 LBS of computers and I'm hoping to get those torn apart today and run the carcasses in tomorrow. Should end up being a nice pay day even though I realized most of the ram had been pulled after I had them in the trailer. Oh well, live and learn. Anyway, here is the mandatory picture:

Wow - were you able to get all that from the yard?
Load from a couple days ago:
-440 LBS of Shred
-11 LBS of Clean Copper/alum radiators (Heatsinks from computers)
-20 LBS Electric Motors
-38 LBS of Motherboards
-68 LBS of Power supplies
and a lot of other stuff.
Very nice payday for after Christmas!

This was today's load.
It was a battle to fit that water tank and dishwasher in there, but I have the gift of persuasion. Anyway, around 350 LBS of shred and a 12 LB AC condenser coil up in the front.
Ok, time to ressurect this thread. I changed the name to The Gravitar Thread so I don't have to start a new one about scrap hauls and such. Anyway, now that I have a truck this thread should be more active now that I can haul more and haul heavier things. Looking forward to more hauls to come!
Dude..stop..scrapping..grills!
An in the picture from 12-30-13, Post #80, those alum casing things(I dunno how else to describe them) under the bucket but in the tote...what did your yard pay you for those if you recall? I got a bunch of it in earlier this year, an took it in expecting alum pricing an they gave me some kind of funky pricing. Much better then alum mind you, so I ain't complaining, just curious if that's a my yard thing, or universal for that kind of stuff.
Item in question is under the ProNurse bucket, on top of the goodies in your clear tote.
I think grills go to die by you Gravi, I swear I see you with a grill in a bunch of your pictures. lol.

Keep up the good work documenting your finds. I like seeing the receipts and theMONEY!
Picked this load up from the car tuner guy that lives in my neighborhood. He gave me a stainless steel exhaust with muffler, a couple brake rotors, and a transmission from a Lexus. Not quite too sure what to do with that one yet. I have been unable to find a core buyer in Austin to consider selling to, so what exactly should I be looking for when Im searching for a core buyer? I mainly just scrap car parts but this one seems like it could be worth more than scrap value.
I also picked this beast up a couple weeks ago from my church. All cast iron! My father and I could barely get it into the truck it was so heavy. But just as my luck would have it, and my church being in downtown Austin, someone went out of there way to piss all over it. It smelled wonderful haha.
wow, this thread had been a great read, wish I found it earlier, very educational. BTW, love the Mopar sign in the earlier picture. Also those German license plates, I found a couple of the square ones exactly like yours and sold them on eBay for 40 bucks each. Those are for a US military base in Germany and a bunch of people collect them.
Deciding to resurrect this thread. Here are some recent loads from me:
Nice Truck! Great upgrade and hope you have gotten a larger trailer!!!
