SS scrappers

My truck was in rare form, every thing but the kitchen sink in it today . So a guy in his twenties says hi as he sees me in the parking lot , he's forward and says hows the scrapping these parts . He had a buddy with him also.

I figure I met up with a fellow brethren we talk . So yada yada and I'm noticing what does he really know about scrapping .
He knows about Stainless steel ,



OK I said you ever dismantle a microwave he says nope. I offer to show ,
with just a claw hammer in no time i show him the - transformer -fan motor- magnetron - ETC
His buddy says in a low tone ,look all with just a hammer , a master scrapper .

I see fast enough my lesson wile of interest to them - they are not that type of scrappers .

He says he gets the SS from a dumpster in a small town in PA
OK I ask do you do it at night - YES
is there mixed non metal garbage in it - NO
so its metal only -YES

I said your gonna get in trouble one day , his answer - when it happens it happens
any way it's a friendly good by take it easy , and I see the thief scrappers just want it easy - he told me he gets 1000 pounds weekly so sure they lift weight but they don't have the real desire to do what is needed to find it the honest way - there is plenty to find honist - BUT its to hard for them - These type are bad news .

there is no such thing as easy when you are hauling shred, think about all the things they could be going after and they chose to steal steel, no pun intended, not very smart criminals there

must be clean stainless he said he get .55 a pound

All in All we are tested daily ,the buddy friend said there is plenty there .
I am happy my true response is just a blank look . I am not looking to be a part of it . Not asking him where's the action at
cause they a told me.
When I first scraped - day one - I had to fight off some situations made decisions , those are the impulsive beginnings I see now even my mpulsive beginnings were never these guys .
