    Pappy gets the last laugh.

Got a call several weeks ago on a chit load of old desk tops and monitors along with a couple servers, phone system etc.. A old Hotel (Closed for 15 years or better) was bought out and the new owner had it all remover as was in a room being stored. I went and Quoted a price on the whole lot and waited for a call...Well Monday the call came in the was the owner with an attitude the convo went like this

Owner." Are you crazy those computers are worth more than $4.00 bucks a piece and they have monitors(CTRs mind you) and every thing. I'll give this crap to charity before you screw me."
ME," Well that's my going price sorry we cant do business but thank you for the opportunity to at least give you a quote on it."
Owner," Well you can't do any better how about $6.oo each?"
ME," Again Those are my prices this week they may go up or down depending on the market so if you would like to hold on to them till I can pay $6.00 each I'll call and let you know when that time arises."
Owner ,"SC^$# That I need the room.. Ill just call the local shelter and donate them.. I don't have time to F&^%% with you and your BS I need this stuff gone!"
ME," Well thanks again for at least giving me a call and im sure the Charity will appreciate the donation. You have a good day."

Click he hangs up on me!!

....lol...well Monday the Chaplin at the shelter calls me and says he has a load of stuff that needs picked up and gives me the address....Guess where?.....When we showed up yesterday to pick it up on behalf of the shelter I've never seen a dumber look on some ones face in my life...Well guess who got the last laugh?...... The part that made me feel good about all this was paying the money to a charity that needs it instead of some A$$ BAG..

That is wicked funny. I hate when people think there junk is worth thousands and can't believe when you give them a honest quote.
