Cut down one side to get the lobes then down the other side as close to the steel as possible. Sell the steel strip with the copper rings in it for copper breakage or motor if they will let you...breakage will be less $$ then motor.

Nice work...I see you have some exercise equipment too.
thanks!, a treadmill and some kind of stepper went in there. this load was free or I got paid to take it, good day in my book
a little stair stepper? I had one of those and figured it @ less than 50 cents scrap, so I put it up on Freecycle, alongside my occasional computer scrap wanted. I got more hits on that thing than I could count, and the one who got it also brought 3 computers along, hahaha. Sometimes it just pays to give something back ; )
it was in the trash so it ended up in my truck haha I think I was on my way to work too
Looks like one of those ski type ones..heh.
Sirscrapalot - Doesn't hurl himself down mountains for fun.
yeah, I tried it out before I threw it in, it was kinda fun
im just showing my mother your pics
she says that apart from homeless people, i must be the only person doing a dirty & strenuous job like this
she does not like me collecting scrap
i keep on telling her that people around the world are doing this as it is an honest living & you dont have to follow any bosses orders.
you are your own boss & you keep what you earn
it can be a dirty job, but you're right, no one is telling me what to do and if you know what you're doing there is money to be made
