Is anyone getting at least $3/lbs for copper anymore or is it just me?

I cashed in some metal today and I dd pretty well like always since becoming more proficient, but I was not happy with $2.40/lbs for copper. Just a month ago it was $3/lbs. Just wondering. I may need a new yard.

I have a standing offer sell my hoard of copper to the first one in this area to offer me $3.00 a pound. I've still got it.

I've got a price sheet right in front of me. $2.40 is for Bare/Bright.
People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

Thats about what it is $2.40

If you acquired copper high, and now your stuck with it i can feel for you.still those type of scrappers made profits along the way . Guys like me find it and these days 10$ gets me decent gas amount to find more . Back when copper was paying real fine fuel was like 4$ by me .
I still live in the bubble that I have faith that all our metals reflect (with a bit of delay) what our buying power will be with the dollar. if metals tank worse and goods go up ,than I'll wish i sold during the good times, for now if it continues to go down finding free might get really overwhelming.
------------------- By me ,for almost 2 years there are just a hand full of scrappers around ,there just gone .But the yards don't seem to miss them
the loads still come in, different entities are capturing the metals . I am under the radar still. The laws are there just not enforced to stop the scrapper like me .
I worry more about that then any thing else .
