I've heard both sides about the hf winches but it doesn't to try I guess, I will be trying to return the come-a-longs as they both got messed up in one use. when I get my own car trailer I will be putting a winch on it, that trailer is my friends that helps me.

oldguy: we got $400 after selling the cat, split that in half and subtracted the $200 we spent on it and it wasn't bad for a couple hours of work

scarpping4ever: hope it works out well, I want to find more auctions to go to so I can expand

Great job! Keep up the great work. I just picked up another car yesterday. It is a Mazda 626 (1991). I will be parting it out. Here our mixed scrap is at $7.00 per hundred. I have enough room to wait it out. While I wait I sell parts on ebay and Craigslist. My next goal is to get a winch. I'm looking to get about 10K winch. It will make short work of big jobs.
    Good luck

if you are breaking your hand come alongs every time try to find the old type that has a chain that sorta looks like a timming chain on them, they usually only have a 3 or four foot pull on them but ive had the same one for 15 years and its only rated for 3,000 pounds and it will do any job ive ever tried.i got mine for 20 dollars at my local flea market.

We just put a 10,000lbs super winch on my trailer, I haven't tested it yet, but a friend borrowed it to move a bunch of logs, guess we need another battery
