    Try hitting up some yard sales this weekend and give out some cards to let them know you could help by removing metal items at the end of the sale.
    I have done the yard sale thing a few times. You'll get calls to haul it all away as their tired of looking at it.
    Ended up with some nice yard sale/consignment sale stuff, some recycling stuff, some scrapping stuff and some Goodwill stuff. (and there you can get a receipt for your donation) Win-win and win.
