As gold goes down, are boards still fetching a good price copper bearing boards seem unaffected as lower copper price push on . I feel this is the case cause the capturing of precious metals from boards has a market based on producing the metals at a price that a profit still is there.

The printer cartridges are worth more than the rest of the printer put together. Some HP cartridges can be worth $2 to $4 each depending on demand. Just handle with care so you don't damage the print head. Check out e-cycle and others for current pricing.

You can usually find those in any of them with the memory card slots.
Not to mention that when you get them that far down it's easy to pluck off the motors, (usually 3)

I always take apart printers, even the old ones without those slots. And 9 out of 10 times, there are HG boards inside. I have not yet seen one printer that didn't have atleast 1 HG board inside, albeit sometimes small, but none the less.

I like printers too, particularly the scan/fax/printer "all in one" type. Aside from the goodies you have shown, the bars that the printer heads go back-and-forth on make really good punches. I always keep them separated in their own bucket, use them until they're bent, then send them off for shred.

If you have Xerox printers, make sure to check for the little white sim/key card, they're white with a gold patch on one side; a little bigger than a dime.

I usually plan on getting about half what people list for "buy it now," I'm usually not disappointed :-D
