omg, BSC scrapper following me now esculating to screaming

So this past Monday i was driving around my town with hubby and this scrapper I've seen around a few years pulls out behind me riding my bumper.

I turned down a street and she FLEW by me. Run across them again a few minutes later coming around a corner of a ''U'' shaped allotment. She is in the middle of the road FLYING around the corner and starts waving her hands and mouthing ''move out of the way.''

Wowza.


Tonight, we are driving round the next town over and pass by a house (not sure if they live there or not) and we hear ''There's nothing here, go back to Rittman!!!''



Hubby laughs and says ''that was Scrappy'' (we call the hubby scrappy)

met them AGAIN a while later and hear (real loudly) ''YOU GOT NOTHING BI$&H, WHAT ARE YOU STOPPING FOR???''




Uh, I'm wondering if she takes medication for this problem she seems to have. If not, maybe she should.

What would you do? I did nothing to this person, she acts like she owns the road and at the very least she needs to be mindful of all the little kids playing outside and she could lose scrap out of her truck the way she flies around corners!


I dont know if she lives in my town or not but I took her plate number down and if she says something again next week I'm going to call the police. Maybe getting pulled over will slow her down?

Plus, is she going to act this way every time she sees me now????

I almost hollered out my window, ''do you SEE this dryer and grill in my truck you freak?'' but decided not to antagonize further lol

Yea..I'ma go with next time she does it, make a phone call. Getting a nice ticket for aggressive driving, speeding, wreckless etc, might get her to take those meds or get some help.

An also, your doing right by not egging them on. Make note of plate, her driving and actions an make a phone call to the coppers. When people act that stupid you just gotta do what you gotta do.

I'd say keep your camera and phone handy(does it record, that should help too) and soon as you see a cop report her for stalking, harrassment, wreckless driving, endangerment, and anything else you can think of

Absolutely call the police and record on cell phone for evidence. Dont confront as you.might get arrested too for a fight and that would be too much of a hassle.
BUT iF YOU ARE GOING OUT AT NIGHT WITHOUT YOUR GUN OR TASER OR WHATEVER...THAT IS CRAZY. THERE ARE TOOANY CRAZY PEOPLE. Trust me....a red laser dot and the racking of a shotgun are UNIVERSAL to everyone.

Glad I don't have to deal with all this craziness on my sandbar. My fellow scrappers here don't act like this at all. Heck we even smile and wave at each other as we pass by!

Write down there plate number just incase they do something stupid one day. I would just ignore them. they will act up to the wrong person one day and they will get theres in the end.

i got to agree with part time scrapper on this. brake check her then hold on.then you can tell the law anything you want.if she shows her a?? and you are calm they will side with you and believe what ever you say.id not normally condone that sorta thing but if they keep it up and wont stop heck with em.good luck

the problem is I dont think she and her hubby are going away, they've been doing it as long as I have that I know of. the thing is, we aren't the only scrappers around - there are at least 3-5 other trucks and probably more, is she picking on them too or is it just me for some odd reason.

I wrote down what has happened so far and will wait to see if she pulls something again next week.

Like SirScrapalot, most other scrappers either wave or just plain politely ignore each other lol but they never act like they ''own'' the territory.

Heh, I'm kind of a weirdo, I guess. I often wave, sometimes I'll even stop and ask how somebody's run is going. If I saw something that was too big for me to take, I'll often look for another scrapper and tell them about it. I only do this with the other scrappers that I think of as "normal" though. There are a lot of crackheads that I just ignore and/or I'll leave the area if I see them trolling a neighborhood, because trouble follows them.
