    See if this helps. I keep a bottle of throttle body cleaner (carb cleaner) handy. Usually I can pull the tape off. Anyway shoot a small shot on the adhesive that is left and let it sit for a while. Should loosen it right up. I buy the cheapest brand of cleaner I can find. Bottle I have now paid around $4 after tax. Have done maybe 20 this way and still have enough left to do God only knows how many. Best guess 100 maybe.
