Another FIND lot.

Just the other day I was told I could pick up like 50 to 150 vaccums in a ware house, was schedualed to pick up this morning. the owner called to re schedual cool deal.. putting up pool in back yard I get another call from a contact I made a while back a computer/cellphone repair shop.. said he had a bunch of crt's and what not but was not ready to go sort them.. I got the call this morning and rushed right over, if I could post a pick of the Silverado truck bed full I would but so far and not done counting cause its hot hot hot outside 18 monitors// some working 3 fax machines 1 credit card swiper and power supply... 1 surround sound for computer old. 3 vcr's 6 or so printers and some other stuff I haven't looked at yet.... SO.. KEEP YOUR CONTACTS YOU MAKE IN A NOTE BOOK SO YOU REMEMBER WHO MAY CALL YOU, just in cases like this. Happy Scrapping..\

Lot of plastic in those vaccuums..dont know if I would tackle that job being I cant recycle it..just a thought

Vaccuums are one of my fav things to scrap You got your motor, the extra long nice copper cable, metal hose, plus any attachments for it I am usually able to sell off real cheap online
Here in Australia I am lucky as we get a recycle bin which is emptied fortnightly, and I have checked with my local council area and am fine to place plastic shells from vaccuums, printers etc in there. I would be in heaven with 150 vaccuums to break down Heck I would even settle for 25

Most yards don't worry about a little bit of plastic's and you can throw some of that in with you lite iron loads. I wouldn't go crazy, but if you have 10% would be fine it all gets ground up and shipped out and rubber and plastic go to land fills for covering then they put sand over that, and the land fills pay for the covering they call ... Fluff....works good for holding the methane in the ground that they sell to the gas company's so there is money in everything we recycle

yeah I leave a lot of plastic on .printers are the big one lol .all I pull out are the boards, moters and ink. the rest goes into my steel bin

Thanks, I have a tip on a large well my kind of large E waste thing, hopefully it pans out by weeks end... now ive heard or seen in some states they buy this type of plastic or you can at least scrap for free rather payen a dump site 5 bucks per cubic yard... working on ways to minimize tv plastic an monitors for easier / less space by trash cans.
