Didn't find much today, but it still was a good day

Did a bit of breaking down at the house today and only picked up a grill. Nevertheless, it was a great day because I sold three bike wheels for a $150 that I found last week on eBay. Always checkout stuff you can sell on ebay. I make a good living from that alone. What are some of your money making tips?

I traded my neighbor some bike wheels with the tires still on once. his intertubes were dryrotted so i gave him mine and got his. His were alum wheels and the others were metal. Sold a rusty wire wine rack for 5 bucks last year. the buyer was like a little sandpaper, primer, and spray paint is all it needs. Would have got like $1.00 for it at the scrap yard.

My most recent money maker was the 75 dinner/buffet plates I got from a clean out. I got some metal too, but it ended up not being worth it for the metal. The plates however...got $200 cash for them. Restaurant stuff sells well.

I placed each wheel in a garbage bag and then put them in a box and tape it up. Real easy.

My only tip is to stop looking for scrap and just start seeing scrap value in everything and enjoying.
