I'm from company that originally made/sold the kettle. Unit ng but I'd take the agitator. Don't know how to contact directly using this...
i wouldn't go "plugging" anything before removing the covers and making sure it's all good inside, and dry. Didn't you say it had been flooded and you heard water sloshing inside?
Hey Fudge42...can ya whip me up a lb of Coolbeanvanilla??
LOL...Fudge42.
Sledge looks like you just got name changed by the great Brojer!
An I have to clean soda off my screen now.
Sirscrapalot - Fudge42...haha
Ok.. I meant to update.. I THOUGHT their was water inside.. but after doing some research (Thank you Google) Turns out that it is like a double bowl.. there is a water pressure "meter" on the side of it, and sandwiched between the inner and outter walls of the kettle itself there is water- that is what heats up and heats whatever is inside, so I though it was dirty water- but it is not.. it is all sealed inside. I've taken all the covers off and cleaned inside and out, if I can get a 240V plug.. I'll be able to tell if she works or she is "shot"
lwerzel: I'm going to keep it as a whole for now until it is tested, if it is indeed a goner.. maybe we can talk about the agitator.
Just so the rest of you know- Parts off this thing aren't cheap- the tipper handle alone- to replace-- goes for $78 bucks- SALLLLLLTY!
The Plastic On/Off Dial- $45
Thermostat $145
Control Board $245

hahaha, i guess that would be a hek of a craving huh ; )
My company originally sold the fudge machine. There are parts that could rust, heating element, motor, and other parts that wouldn't like water. Go ahead, plug it into a 220 volt line and see if it heats and mixes. If it wasn't under water I could have tried to sell it for you.
lwurzel: I have no idea how much into or under water it was. I am going to see if I can get it tested to see if it works. You can send me a PM if you would like to have a discussion about it. To send a PM just click my username, and there will be an option to "Send Private Message" you can discuss it with me there. Thanks
Ok So I'm still working on this when I have spare time.. I took off the cover to the Electrical Panel.. Checked connections, checked for Crud-- NADA.. Looks as clean as coming out of the factory- absolutely no sign of corrosion in it.. My camera phone pic stinks but here it is. I have to add that this is one well-built machine.. Everything sealed, well built.. Just beautiful craftsmanship all around. Now just hunting a 240V correct plug I can plug this in on a dual 50 Amp Breaker and FIRE IT UP! I wanted to be sure the electrical (if needed to be cleaned) was taken care of before sending electricity through it!! I'm now ready and anxious to plug it in and see what she does.
Is that pic looking into the base? There's a cover top the motor that might be just a top cover, kinda like a hood. You might be able to see the brushes and top part of the rotor in it. I'm hoping it'll fire right up. It may have just been retired due to non use
Where I lived in TN I ran a 220 to a back window unit that never saw much use, and eventually pulled the unit and later pulled the wire out under the house and used it like a 220 extension for use outside. I plugged other AC there for testing, used it on a welder too. It rolled up easily and tucked under the porch, and could be turned off at the main panel
