The load with the clean material no labor to process or clean .20 cents a pound works for me ,the load with the pics is a lot more labor intense my rule of thum is 3 x the money if i pay 2000.00 for the load I must get 6000.00 for the load, keep in mind on large jobs I do not quote the customer a price,we go get the material bring it back to my yard and process to get the best money,so for a example if we take in some stainless sinks and remove all the ferrous material and sell the stain less for .60 the customer gets .20 a lb for the sinks its also a great customer service angle, the customer gets a higher return then if we bought the sinks as dirty stainless .10 cents a pound,Useing that sales angle the customer is happy and I am not laying out any cash before I sell the material, this works for new and old customers alike keep in mind it's just junk to them and not every one will give you there scrap with out money have some local references be honest and sincere you will build up a nice customer base.

I like your thinking in extracting the value of a load and spreading it around to make sure everyone is happy AND putting a NICE chunk of change in your pocket.
