Curb scrappers develop skills

It recently occurred to me, enhanced skills as a curb scrapper developed , this time I'm not talking tool skills.
I'm talking People skills .
The curb , Dumpsters and such, you develop humility and extreme politeness , some how you portray to the home owners there trash is safe I only want metal . On occasion you run into the irate & the attitude is The customers always wright. Last week a home owner looked pissed as he had to clean up
a mess from opened trash bags . I stopped and helped, as I helped I said I scrap metal and I don't make a mess, let me help.

Once you get to the yard , the tough business man shows up, watching and making sure you get whats coming to you. As some workers try to intimidate, you have to prove to them in the long run your one step ahead don't pull any crap.
