I'll bet you could make a toaster/coffee pot cord work with a little modification. The same basic thing is used with certain printers. You have the power pack that sets on the floor with a 18 ga wire with a round plug-in. The other end of the power pack has the main power wire that plugs in, and the end kinda looks like a figure 8.
