Get LARGE Wooden Boxes For Free

In the post showing pictures of my shop I have had a few people ask me
about the big wood boxes we are using for shelves and my eBay workbench.

I get these boxes for free. They are boxes that all of the extra parts
come in for with glider kits. When The local Freightliner Truck dealership
get trucks in now they generally get them without a motor. these trucks
are called "Glider Kits". They are doing this to bypass some EPA regulations.
The motor comes on a rack by itself. These boxes hold everything else
that comes with it. they are giving as many away as they get. They are doing
60 of these trucks over the next 3 months here.

They just put them in a huge dumpster if they can't get rid of them. I am thinking
if you talk to your own local Freightliner new truck dealership you will find them
doing the same thing. I asked my guy if they were dong this everywhere and he
told me as far as he knew they were.

These are great boxes for storage. I just put in one reinforcement 2X4 and they
are awesome. I have got 14 of them so far. You can also stand them on end and
use them as cabinets if you put hinges on them.

Check it out fellas. I hope this helps some folks.
There may a million better places to live than Iowa, but none of them are home!
