    Another scrapper riding my bumper!!

I'm just starting to laugh at whats been happening to me lately with this stuff!

Dad and I were out this past Sunday and we were in an allotment and happened upon another scrapper so as I pulled around him as he was loading stuff I gave him a friendly wave. You know, an ''Hey fellow scrapper.''

He looked at me and help his palms up like, ''what is this crapola?''

Went on our way and as we turned into the next area all of a sudden here he is riding my bumper so close I couldn't even see his headlights. Dad and I are just looking at each other like ''WTH? is this guys problem?''

He rode my bumper through the whole area and when I turned he did too. At this point I'm just rolling my eyes thinking I don't feel like leapfrogging this guy the rest of the day in the next area. I did finally lose him.

I think I'm going to make a big sticky for my tailgate on scrap days that reads, ''I'm scrapping today if you want to follow me.'' I'll just start making it easy for everyone and get the jump on the issue!! lmao and shaking my head at the same time at the weirdness that has become my scrapping life this year.

Maybe he's a friend or relative of the last bunch. I repeat my suggestion that your Dad turn around and point a camera at these clowns - it works wonders to get people to behave. Good luck.

I always liked my solution for tailgaters when I was plowing snow and had a sander on a flatbed. I'd tap the brakes a couple times. If that didn't work, I'd reach down and flip the switch for a short burst of the sander. Ever had sand flying across your hood into the windshield? Worked every time.
People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

omfg I almost caused a accident today on purpose . I was on 80 pasing a whole convoy of rigs lol.must have been at least 20 of them .this ******* in a bmw comes up behind me riding my ass .everytime I pass a trailor he changes lanes and hits the gas to get around me lol .I had cruise set at 70 that's fast enough. when hauling 700+ lbs of boards i finally get sick of it and I break check him and all I hear is sqeeech lol. then back on my ass he comes .when I say on my ass I mean so close I could not see his headlights. I wanted so bad just to hit my brakes and let him rearend me. but I got control of the road rage
if this was 2 years ago I would be sitting on the side of the road. but I do need a new truck lol

robs, I'm glad you backed off the anger! Would hate to see you in trouble!

I dont think this guy was friends with the first lady I had trouble with, it was way too far away in another county/area. But i was just like, ''REALLY??? Another one??!!'' lol

Twice now? This may have nothing to do with you, specifically. Hear me out...

There is a lot of bland, bad food in Ohio. I once had a pizza in Findlay that was made with ketchup. Hamburger in Warren that I couldn't eat. Some ghastly thing with cinnamon called "Skyline Chili" in Cincinnati, which I tried eat with some beer called Hudy Delight that tasted like dishwater. Terrible food makes angry people, ready to fight. I'm Irish, so I have experience in this. You might run into this problem wherever you go as long as you're in Ohio. Awesome state to visit, generally terrible food.

It's just a theory, but if I'm right, there's not much you can do about it. Sorry.

i'm a bit of a prick when people rid my arse like that. i had a guy hang out his window screaming at me one day, next light after we got up to speed i locked up the truck. my hitch almost got a rad out of it. that didn't exactly make him smile. got him again when i was turning into the coffee shop, he sped up to go around me and i locked um up again. just wanted to see if he was paying attention under all that screaming. One of those days when you wished that the guy follows you into the parking lot so you can ask him why his problem has anything to do with you.

If you didn't like Skyline you might want to get your taste buds checked.

One thing I do know about Ohio is that it seems to be the state for people driving right on your butt. I got rear ended three times when I lived in Cincinnati. Fortunately, the law is on your side if you do get hit.
