I'd vote for "Scrap" it seems unless you have an iPhone 4 or Samsung Galaxy.. no one gives you beans for something that isn't less than 6 months old or currently on the market- Except those awesome and necessary buyers of $crap cell phones! Still trying to get my 1st 60+ lb box.
I'm so into scrapping.. When my Steel Toe Boots Wear out, I cut the Steel out of them and recycle the Toe!

Didn't one of our buyers buy phones for scrap and pay extra for ones that they will be able to re-sell? Like most of the questions here it all depends on your availble time and knowledge.
I have changed my business direction greatly because I am happier and more productive re-selling much of what I get vs straight up scraping. Of course this still leaves me regular scrap but far less of it. Mike.

Yes always check phone model for "parts" pricing on ebay. Many many can be sold for more than scrap as a parys phone. I check every one I get...1 min can mean $10+ vs what like $1 maybe for a pgone and battery price. And many times it can be $20. Just saying...even some water damaged ones sell just fine for parts.
