Right now what my scrapping outfit has been this Summer t-shirt, shorts, and sandals. I didn't learn my lesson though when a vice fell on my big toe

I've brought in burnt wire and got copper #2 price ONLY when i had a note from the fire dept. They did a controlled practice burn on a house, and (with permission) i picked out all of the copper wire and pipe.

I used to burn the insulation off wire. But my yard told me they wouldn't take it. They eventually offered me $1 per lb. just to "get rid of it" cause no one else would buy it anymore. I took a loss on my 100lbs of burnt wire. now I would never think to burn it again. Get a good wire stripper and it's easy money.
