My latest load I took to the yard about 3 to 4 weeks back. I dont accumulate alot of scrap during the winter months, but most of the load is computer towers from break down.

Heading monday after school to a local computer repair store to pick up a 2 car garage full fill with a bunch of old computer equipment, theres a couple crts in there, but I'm able to proper get rid of CRTs for free.

    Happy Scrapping!

They actually contact me. I'm pretty sure I either called them up and then they called me after a long while, or they seen one of my craigslist ads.

Thanks Sirscrapalot! Haha I don't even remember what I was like, actually I dont think I made a meet n greet thread. I just came in and seen a post about reading all the archives and i spent like 3 days just reading everything lol.

but going today in like 45 mins to go pick up a garage full of computers. Theres a couple CRTs in the lot, but I get rid of them for free, so no big deal. I'll post pics, when I get home tonight. The machines are old.

And I just realized I think I already mentioned about this a couple posts up lol, oh well. :P

Going tomorrow to pick up a load of goodies, apparently a lot of cellphones in this load, that would be a first for me, will be sorting out good ones for resale. But I'm getting it all for free because the couple is moving and they have all this stuff to get rid of, so I'm head there after school tomorrow. I'm soon gunna be able to have a truck bed full of boards to take out to Mr. Ewasted. Road trip!! lol. And I will be doing it on a school day cause itd be a legit excuse for a day off school haha.

Wow, i just got on here and didnt realize I didn't take pics, dangit, there was a safe in the load. The guy gave me 20 bucks for my gas and the guy was in online marketing so he gave me a lot of tips to get noticed. The guy told me the safe was left at the house from the previous owner and they couldn't get it open, and so well we kind opened it with a sledge hammer.

My towns transfer station takes them for free. We're not a huge town so yeah I bet they wouldn't take them if we were a huge city cause they always get a lot from the people that do drop them off.

Holds up nice. I'm actually using it break down escrap on top of, small items i just smash against the fenders to get the boards out haha, its a tough trailer, I'm going to be adding a 5000 pound winch to the front of it cause I'm gunna start either hauling cars and or farm equipment/big items from farm properties like those 2 cars I posted up before. I mean it is kind of wierd to tow cause of the tires, but it holds up.

Did some work to the trailer yesterday, replaced one of the rotten boards on it. I also found a board on it that will soon need replaced because it is getting really soft. It'll hold for now. Bought a light for it at tractor supply, taking it into the school tomorrow to weld a bracket to mount the light too. I'm gonna head home today and strip some dryer and stove cables before I head to work. I also bought some lawn signs from Lowes and gunna advertise about appliance pickup and also about being able to pick up cars and trucks too. I do have to buy a winch and mount it to a hitch reciever aswell. I'm getting ready for the summer and this summer I'm going to be kicking some butt as I'm gunna be out of school and need to make as much as I can to go to college, in which when I'm at college I'll still probably scrap up there. I'm also almost ready for a load to go out, I got a bunch of stripped printer carcasses and then computer towers to go out. Just thought I'd post an update.

I have some friends going there right now. (different majors) They seem to enjoy it up there. I'm not to far from you. I'm a freshman at Penn State University Park so just a little west of you.

Truck hit 100,000 yesterday! I'm now part of the 100k + club! Turned 6 digits! Will throw up a pic of it, also just made a new contact that has about 5000 square feet of metal office cubicles. He wants 75 percent of them hauled away. He also has a warehouse of about 500 computer, I even offered to pay for them, God I hope the deal goes through and I get a chance at them, I'd have one h311 of a pay day!!
