    truck in woods

didn't need an atv to reach this baby. What would you offer for it? and what do you think you could get?
    it's a 55 F250 with a 292 V8 I believe is what he said, and said the bumper was in a shed

That is my dream truck too....My first truck was an 83 f150 that I threw a chevy 305 in. I got rid of the body but I still have that engine. Would love to throw it in that truck, and put my 5'' stacks on it too. I have to know what you want for it, just out of curiosity.

Those trucks sell fast, if the floors are good and the engine will turn over either with the starter or by a breaker bar, I would offer about $500 and see what he says. You will be able to sell whole or part it out for far more than that. Check out The HAMB if you are not already familiar with the site, it is for any 64 or older vehicles. Don't knock the 292 those old Y blocks are sought after by people looking to retro rod their older cars and trucks.

Edit: The V8 grill should get you half your money back.

Don't forget to ask about the title when making your deal. It will add value to the truck when reselling and save you or the next owner some headaches. Looks like a nice old truck...

    Sweet truck.

Looks can be deceiving, but it looks solid.

He said he drove it in there one night and the starter went out, and later let it roll down to where it is now. Also said the only thing not original is the 6volt generator was replaced with a 12v alternator system. I asked about raising the hood but he said he needed to find his old oil squirt thing with a long spout to reach through to the spring hinges. I opened the passenger door and all the metal looked good, even the (i think it was) replacement seat covers, but the cab was mostly full of junk
