Off to a good start. A couple of items: You want to be consistent with punctuation. Some titles who have capitalized and some aren't. Personally, I'd capitalize every category and sentence. Second, some things I'm not sure you intended to make public - Sitemap and Recent Activity.
People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

I agree with Mick. I've never been a fan of no capitalization - it just doesn't look professional to me.

Great start! A website can be a great asset to your scrapping. If you put time and effort into it, and work to optimize your Google search results, you could get extra business when companies look for electronics recycling in your area.

I have some constructive feedback. I warn you though - this is what I do by profession. I work in the internet side of a large IT department.
    - Does Google Sites let you come up with a better URL? Something like Robs Recycling If you're scrapping is doing well, you might want to buy that site and route to here. Google sites does make it easier to set up a page. But the URL might not look so hot on a business card. A google site URL makes it look a little less professional.

-What are you doing this site for? Are you targeting IT people, other scrappers in your area, SMF members, or companies/people in your community looking to get rid of scrap? I think the latter is what you're looking to use the site and get you more scrap - but certain parts (especially the prices list) seems like only SMF members would understand. Consider your audience, and then put the information you want your audience to see out there in a way that will interest them.

    - I suggest re-thinking your main page (and taking main out of it. Call it home if you must call it something. Talk briefly about e-waste and the valuable service you are providing by keeping this out of the landfils. In addition to free pickup of these hazerdous items, there are even certain items they can get paid to. Getting paid to do something they were going to do for free is something that interests people!

-Move the about us to a separate area.

-As mentioned, punctuation/capitalization. With all the scams and crooks out there, it's important to differentiate yourself not only by how you act professionally, but your site must be professional. People will judge you and your company before they even meet you. Are you putting your best foot forward?

-How bout a list of items you pick up?

-What about asking a few of your best success stories if you can put their comments on the website (using first name only)? Add a section for "What others are saying about us". Then have stuff like "I was so glad to get the space back in our storage shed from the old servers." "Rob was very professional, and it was a pleasure to work with him. Thanks Rob!" Stuff like the rating feedback on Ebay.

-Site didn't look good on mobile.

Just a few ideas/thoughts to hopefully make your site more effective. Great start!

Good start & props to you for doing this yourself. A couple of folks touched on my thoughts, but one thing is adding some color / contrast in different areas (maybe company name, etc.). Good job so far, though AND you're ahead of the game with a lot of folks who don't have a site at all.

One of the biggest things you can do (and this will help a bit with ranking on google) is to choose a url with the keywords people search for in it. For example...I live near athens ga...people generally search this way... <some term> athen ga....so computer recycling athens ga is the logical way people would start looking for a place to recycle a computer in athens ga.

By looking at the terms people search for...and I can show you how...this is just not the place to try to explain all that...you can help put your websites rank or what position it comes up on google for those terms. Grantef you still have to do other SEO stuff...but this is extra % point's to your score for free. So try to look for a term that you do...along with the area....another trick is over time to buy several urls and forward those to your main site....again capturing search traffic.
