    Nothing last forever

There are a few special dumpsters I hit ,that for a wile I was like the only one. But little by little competition is surfacing & I see others are getting also.
well it's all fare , I had a good run on them, It was not normal to get that much - Copper - Brass - for free, with out others catching on.

I would say I went from 100% hit to around 40 % for now & in the next month I will really see.
I am thinking it might be that time I wondered about - when will competition really kick in and others find first.

Like a cat once you feed it - it stays -
if you have territory and some others find stuff also,
there excitement causes them to go for it,
    like a wild fire.

I picked up an old book about the San Francisco Gold Rush and in 1849 a dozen eggs cost from $10 - $50 a dozen, a quart of good whiskey ran $30 and shovels cost $15-$25. Gold was going for $16 an ounce.

Instead of letting other people raid your dumpster claims go ahead and stop in to each company and offer to buy the product they are throwing away. Have them set it aside for you and then just schedule times for pick up and you will get all that was yours for a small fee and at the same time creating a business clientel.

This post brings back some great memories when I used to have a dumster route myself. I also had my Golden dumpster that was always faithfull and plentyfull.

    Your probably correct - Still
I think it would be a loosing battle as this dumpster would have to have cooperation from a dozen if not more utility trucks
once all the workers see all those goodies in one area . The reality would sink in . then before you know it a worker will have his son in law getting the stuff .
the odds are not in my favor if 30 workers are all of a sudden seeing the items not going to dumpster at least 1 of those 30 will say , my son or son in law just had a baby , You know his back is out - needs help - Bla Bla Bla

First come first serve at the dumpsters with full permission

    A bidding war I don't want .
