    Progress!

After reading a bunch of threads like Gravitars, gustivus(sorry if i misspelled) etc I started thinking and figured instead of making a million different threads, id post all my jobs, scores, progress, leads etc here.

Right now im working with my old Dodge and a car trailer from work. Im working on saving some cash, selling my car and buying a nicer, less fuel hungry truck, and my own trailer. Iv beed doin only cars for the past 2 years and im now looking to expand to all sorts of scrap. Im Slowly learning. Like alot of you guys im hoping to grow this into a profitable business. Iv grown from 1-2 cars every 6-12 months to 3-4 cars a month in the 2 years iv been doin this.

Lookin forward to seeing how much I Grow from here and also any tips or advide from you guys along the way.
If I didn't have bad luck, I'd have no luck at all...

My wife had a Fiero when we started dating 20 some years ago...fun little car but and I want to say some of the body parts might be plastic. Once the kids started coming the car had to go, we were just reminiscing about it last night.

Pontiac Fiero Curb weight 1,176 to 1,265 kg (2,590 to 2,790 lb)

(By 1985, the oil crisis was long past and demand developed for a Fiero having more engine power and better sports car performance. Pontiac responded by introducing the GT model which included upgraded suspension tuning, wider tires, and a V6 engine having 43 hp (32 kW) more than the base four-cylinder. In 1986, the GT model was restyled slightly to produce a more sleek appearance, but the performance and reliability still failed to deliver)

If you are doing cars, witch by the way are great to do you need to take as much as you can off the car the cat, radiator ,the wheels, alternator, starter, motor and trans, some engines are aluminum heads and go as irony, trans are always irony, don't forget the battery, also some have aluminum hoods and doors, when I used to do cars I brought the shell of the car to the shred, every thing else was separated and sold for their true value, that's how you make the money.

Most of the time i leave the motor and trans. Everything else i take. Takes too long and eats up profit. I only do this part time for right now. Cant tie up a bay for more than a few hours after work. I also remove all the oil. Get paid .15 per liter. Bossman might use it to heat the shop this winter though.

I really want to get into e waste. But all the shops iv been to or called didnt have anything or didnt need my service. For now im removing all the gauge clusters and computers out of the cars.

That big old highway tractor doesn't look that bad in the photo! Did I miss a chicken nesting on the dash or a hog laying under the radiator...?

air bags in the rear are very badly cracked. Sleeper looks like a racoon took up residence (could just be a messy driver LOL) mud flap hangers are all bent. Lots of little stuff. its been sitting since 07 i believe. Thats the last date on one of the stickers.sunk about 6 inches in the guys lawn.

IF they accept my offer we are Gonna get it back to the shop and see if itll fire up. Sell it as a running tractor. If she dont run, gonna part it out.

It belonged to someones husband who passed away. They dont know stink about it and just want it off the property. Im gonna offer what i think is fair, considering the work its gonna require just to move it, scrap it, etc. Luckily its just down the road from us. Gonna hook up the old cummins and tow it back. Its pulled a tractor like this before lol.

Took this small load in today. 23 bucks. Better than a kick in the butt. Was on my way to the tranny shop and the yard was on the way.
