Lenovo X200 Tablet PC Docking Station Breakdown

I received a couple of docking stations for an old Lenovo X200 Tablet PC. I didn't recall anyone mentioning these things, so when I took one apart I decided to take some photos and upload them to Flickr for you guys.

    My findings:
    - 1 DVD drive
    - Lots of plastic
    - Most of the metal inside was NOT magnetic (I think its aluminium)
    - 1 board (I don't know what grade it is).
    - A ton of hidden screws that are required to open the thing up neatly
    - Some gold pins (Lower right hand corner of the "Insides" picture)

IBM has made a few of these docking stations as well, and I assume there would be much of the same in them. In the near future I may be receiving other models of Lenovo docking stations, and I intend to upload photos of them as well.

Here is the link to the set:

Nice photos. I looked at the other photos and I am wondering is photography your hobby? Mike.

Thank you. I like doing it a little bit, but I'm not professional, the truth is most of those photos were taken for my digital photography class. However it appears that I may have found another use for my Flickr account after all
