Ok Folks: The Washing Machine is Finished.. Just got back from the yard. Steel took a $20/ton drop on me so it sits currently at $200/ton- bummer. But still did well on the steel off the washing machine.
Here are the Final #'s:
So Running Totals:
Brass: 8 Lbs @ $1.20/lb = $7.20
Stainless Steel: 243 Lbs @ .30/lb = $72.90
Aluminum: 42 Lbs @ .45 lb = $18.90
Copper Wire: 6 Lbs @ $1.00/lb = $6.00
Electric Motor: 89 Lbs @ .20/lb = $17.20
Steel: 660 Lbs @ $0.10/lb = $66.00
$188.20 on $10 Investment= $178.20 Profit. So would I do another- Uhh YEAH I would!
Guess I could have actually paid the $70 and still made out.. but I'll take it at $10 bucks! BOOM!
Thanks Sledge!!!
Have one of these (I think... no pics?) still in place. Sounds like the same machine. I am getting all the piping back to the shutoff's as well as a removal fee.
Was the drum assembaly easy to separate from the main base? This machine is going to have to come out in pieces absolutely no way to take it out whole.
Thanks

Since I linked all my pics off of Fb and Fb changed the link.. nearly all of my images here on the forum have vanished!
The drum assembly was pretty easy to take off.. but I give you this Warning- Once you undo that last screw. Either have a helper or be sure to get the BLANKETY BLANK out of the way.. That sucker came down on the concrete floor and literally cut my sawzall cord in half like a Ginsu! It is HEAVY and if your toes are there.. kiss em goodbye.
I'll tell you that the part that the belt sits on (Cast Alum) was a Mother and a half to get off- Think I ended up sawzalling the crap out of it and went through a number of blades!
Send me a PM with your email Addy.. I know I still have pictures of this bad motha on my external HD!
