I stockpile but to give me work during the winter tearing stuff down. Mainly, I get awfully bored since I can't get out when there's snow on the ground (and I live in MAINE - go figure). Used to plow snow during the winter but had to give that up a couple years ago.
People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

I personally put stuff on layaway at Wally World now and use my scrap to make the payments. I get most of my shopping done prior to Christmas and only have a few things left to pickup around black Friday.

jump on a boat and come down to australia, apon arrival the gov't will give you accomodation,
about $250 a week to get by, free medical and free-waste everywhere!
drop 3 or 4 kids along the way and you move into upper middle class with great income and an ocean view appartment.

Sorry but the USA is still the best country in the world to live in, even with all of our problems. 250 a week just isn't enough to give up freedom.

(also, our version of Wilfred is better than yours)

I've unintentionally stockpiled DVD/CDROM Drives....I probably have 400 of them...if not more...and I have over 500 laptops to tear apart. I figure that will give me something to do in the winter/snow months here in Wisconsin.

Do you have any new-ish models? Any with built-in wireless internet/DVD drives/intact LCD displays/big hard drive storage space?
If so, I'd be willing to pay you a few dollars for it, + shipping... So long as it works!
Could you (PLEASE) supply some photographs?
Thanks for all of your time!

If not stripping any wire, I like to pull the brass prongs out of power cord ends. I got like almost 4 freezer storage bags full for winter.

Stock up the cooler, leash up the dogs, bug the wife to get a move on so we can head to the beach, and enjoy a couple cold ones.

Yes..holidays on the sandbar. Grill, cooler, an spending time with my face munchers an wife.
