Day 7 of the I don't know bucket.

As a nonessential worker I have had 7 days now going through my "I don't know" bucket and reading SMF.
I now have 1/2 pound of dirty brass electrical connectors, 1/4 pound of clean connectors and am still going. Time to actually take apart switches, unspooled 4 really tiny electric motors because I can. Have actually started to throw the lids of tobacco cans into shred bucket. Read some more SMF, need another bucket for stainless, acquired a garage door that I need to breakdown, and I might start stripping wire tomorrow. Might take a printer apart just to see what's in there.
And I am pretty sure I own a pair of needle nose pliers and when I find them the poundage of the brass connectors may change.

Pawn shops, and flea markets can be good places for secondhand tools, just watch out for newer ones that say "China" on them ; )

I just think they should have their fiscal year budget thing in July. It would be much easier to accumulate and breakdown scrap while not in the cold and snow.

haha, I spent one cold winter in the snow and ice a long time ago, and haven't gripped about the summer heat since(and there's been some hot ones! ; )

Yea..I agree Bear. I'd rather work in the cool/cold then the hot. Humidity sucks! Course..when it gets hot, I just take a break go for a dip in the ocean or sound..then get back to work. LOL.

Make sure you set up a OMG ITS GOLD™ bucket Nat! to go along with the I dunno bucket.

especially with the larger tools that cost more to replace (bbe there, lesson learned!)

Granted,
The "real" 536 "non-essential" workers are in Washington acting like they're romper room rejects (the Chief of which is hosting a music extravaganza tonight, live on PBS, at the White House), while other world leaders (including Russia, China, and OPEC) are meeting in Indonesia, discussing what they'll do with such a disfunctional controller of their worlds currency (yes, it's their world too) It's time our "leaders" forget about a buncha music and romper room antics, wake up to smell the coffee, and start trying to pull our country back together
The only 2 major world powerhouses (besides US) not at the APEC summit are Germany and Brazil (who just don't happen to be in the Asia-Pacific region), but are likely also wondering what they'll do with such a messed up world currency(ours)
