    Dad's Find

    G'day scappers,

When I was still a boy and my dad was in to scrapping, I spent a bit of time in his shed one day
watching him breaking stuff up for scrap.

He had been down to the tip and was about to start on his haul. Out came a lump of brass and up
went the hammer when I let out a loud yell........

I gave dad a few shillings - about brass value for the object which I still have to this day - 55 years on.

    Good save? I think so.

    Cheers

Ah yes... No! The link is good, the timing is bad.
I have just read the forum rules.
Will post the link again once I have 20 posts under my belt.

    My apologies.

    Cheers
