    Sad and good for me.

today I decided to swing by the local computer repair place which I normally do every day, its on my route home from work. I haven't ben there in a week so today I said well lets drop by...normally theres nothing on the back shelf outside.. on a lucky day there is a lap top or a tower and not much else.. today was stacked and packed past the 6 shelf unit.. EYES WIDE OPEN.. a lady was near and I told her who I was and that I stop by just about every day to recycle.. she was the owner of the 3 shop building which sadly cought fire last Monday/Tuesday.. inside damage to all 3 units so they cleaned out storage for repairs... I offered any assistance I could lend she said ty and shell let me know.. her kind daughter helped me load.. 30 lap tops. 16 desktops 3 crt monitors, large copy machine and a cpl boxes of misc stuff.. got home.. 2 lap tops older models work, maby couple more with little tlc.. rest is scrappinTime.

Quite a few yards dont buy small "motors"...they only want to deal with larger ones...granted the upside of pulling all those little motors from printers and copiers just doesnt work for the time involved...get what you can easily and send the rest to shred.

My yard buys motors, even small ones. Earlier this year I was getting .30 cents a pound but now their down to .10 per pound.

yes I know.. I used to work for a company in Colorado where we recycled ink and toner carts, WM bought out the company now they take allot less ink an toner carts .. I still check the monthly price on the ink an toners and collect what I can sell back to them.. they pay for shipping and its a good check for free items.
