So get this. My landlord is refusing to renew the lease of Burly Guys Junk Removal because I have (gasp!) JUNK! Apparently visibility of junk has po'd a neighbor (almost everything is kept in the building. Sometimes an item or two is left out overnight, but it is not like we were making it look like a junkyard.)
While I am frustrated, I am finding there are better deals in nicer buildings out there, and actually it will be nice to have a fresh clean spot in a new space, with my space actually planned out in advance instead of haphazard as it is now. The lease expires 1/15, but she will allow me out of the lease if I leave early.
The advantage of the timing is that if I go with a three year lease on the building I like I get two months free rent in December and January, my slowest time. So, bonus.
Anybody else ever get the boot because of what you do for a living?
