    Great deal from Godaddy

About a week or so ago, I started checking into getting a website up and running. I checked on Godaddy.com and liked their stuff, so figured that I would probably end up with them.

Fast forward a little bit and of course, since I had done a search for godaddy, that Facebook was popping an ad for them with a 50% off code. The price I saw already was pretty good. $4.99 a month for domain name, hosting and web building. This was a sale price from something like 8.99 a month. That would come out to about $60 for a year. So I clicked on the Facebook ad and decided to go for it. I waded through getting my domain name and everything else and it automatically gave me the Facebook ad price which ended up being $53 and change for a year.

So, very soon, (in a week or so) I will be launching mrecycletreasurecoast.com.

I have been stepping up the ecycling a bit lately and this is the next logical step. I started about 2 weeks ago with a Facebook presence. https://www.facebook.com/MrEcycle34984

So if you are thinking of going a little bigger, then go for it. Facebook is free, and godaddy is cheap. The godaddy fees also came with advertising credit that I will check into. Something like $50 facebook advertising and $100 google. It also comes with the standard e-mail addresses and such. There is also a cheaper version for a buck or two a month.

    Go out and get 'em!

Good on man. When I ran my consulting business.. I had my website hosted with GoDaddy. I was always happy with them.. and as you said- reasonable price for a host as well!

Look up students are in school for that buisness. I saw an ad on craigslist for free sites. You just pay for the. domain. They build it to your specifications. Ill try and find the link

I see that you got a pic of your new organized workspace on your FB page. My offer to host your dad for my own cleanup and reorganization still stands!

Godaddy is a registar...so when you "buy" a domain, you technically "own" it...they just have it registered qith ICANN, thw ogalganization that handles all internet addresses....simy yes you own it, but you have to have a registrar to rwgister it...in this case you can move tour url to another registar...I never liked having my website with the same place my url was registered at...the beat places to do rlwebsites is a web hostingcompany....godaddy is a registar that happens to offer web hosting...I always rscommend a company that does just web hosting...a good starting point is hostgator....cheap and easy. Another thing to think about...have your email for tou site hosted somewhere else than your website...that way if the website goes down you still can get email....use gmail with your url (you can do that) or say email at godaddy and website at hostgator.
