I found a computer tower, flat screen monitor and all the cords at curbco last night. Looks better than anything I have. I'm going to fire it up next week and see it its got anything left in it.

That, plus a stainless steel sink with all the fixtures, a vacuum cleaner, and jumper cables. All on the way home from a thanksgiving dinner.

Yup gonna fill up the mini van today and hit curbco tonite. All garbage pickups were pushed back a day due to holiday. Piles should be nice and big !

You all are one holiday ahead of yourselves. Won't see the old tv's, microwaves and such till after christmas. Most of the items bought yesterday and today are for christmas gifts.

or...the $98 is better then the 275 for one with a 'nice' picture...lol. Then again...I don't care what people blow their money on. It's THEIRS to blow..not mine. Who am I to judge.

My tube tv is doing just fine, when it dies...I got 10 more in storage! hahahaha! Take that walmart an new tv sellers everywhere!

Sirscrapalot - If it's broke..just walk down to the storage pile, an grab one that works.

I hardly watch tv, on my tv..lol. I got better things to blow my money on then some new fangled piece of technology that will just be replaced by some thing newer an shinier in 6 months! Hell it took me over a year to replace my original Xbox.

I don't need HDTV, or all that other crap. I'm old school, I came up with out a remote! I want fancy moving pictures...I go to the..wait for it...Movie theater! Or I bust out the

An seriously...I do ewaste scrapping for a living. I'm not going to trash a nice tv that works for 5 bucks. Plus..I have a nice working supply of tvs, just plain silly to buy something I can replace for free. haha!

    Here's a shocker...I never bought or wanted a blue-ray! lol.

Ah well, each their own! Anyone needs a good deal on a tube, I got one for ya!

    Edit: I agree Focker...commonsense isn't so common.

    Sirscrapalot -

I picked up 1 flatscreen, 1 projection and 0 tube tv's. BUT, that was only one day of garbage out after the holiday shopping so hoping next week yields more!

I haven't bought a tv sinceI started scrapping, every tv in my house and a couple at my moms are from what I picked up scrapping. If one dies, scrap it out and I know i'm gonna find another to replace it!
