I didn't have a choice in whether it was torn down or not unfortunately - it was just something I got lucky enough to be able to take apart.![]()

I don't think it was an oscilloscope. Its some sort of vectorscope--I think they were used for work on the old CRT TV's and the like. Maybe someone who has worked with these will chime in...
I'm sure if you put up your request on this site for a 'scope, someone will have one or come across one. I would like to find one, too!!
