I'm so into scrapping.. When my Steel Toe Boots Wear out, I cut the Steel out of them and recycle the Toe!
yep I just took it off the truck and put it in garage , it has wheels on it so its dangerous . Im prob gonna take it in tomorrow after school . took it off cause my area is supposed to get 4-5 inches of snow. im debating if ii should try to rip out the inside lining cause its stainless or just cut the cord and copper tubing and call it a day? Hmmm :O
Memories of KZ's corpse chiller come to mind. heh.

only the inside walls are stainless .but I think its held by the spray foam used in refrigerators. im deciding whether I should put the labor in to take the lining out and sell the rest as shred.
So what exactly do you do with it?? In my area the freon has to be removed to recycle that stuff or they will not touch it......and you cant just break the line and release the freon, so what do you do?
here's some search results on recovery etc.

It might not be what you'd like to get in to but maybe you'll find ideas in those threads for locating someone who does
Or maybe you can see a market there for removing freon for other scrappers for a fee, plus small repair shops. Another niche business along with recycling.
Sometimes that SS is covering a wood carcass.
