I dont like minivans! sorry SirScrap!

Just returned from visiting family and had quite the haul home. Spent $45 on a van full I of e waste. Everything in the pic i paid 5 bucks for. More than 5 bucks in wiring! Also had to pay for 6 laptops, a few desktops (10 total or there about) some HDs, Ram, finger cards, mobos (with a few CPUs still inside! Love lazy people)

Plus freebies. Got a box of cd and dvd drives, a bag of ribbon wire, 5-6 satellite boxes, 5-6 crt monitors. 1 LCD Monitor, another box of wires and a busted xbox 360. Plus a few printers. And other stuffnim sure im forgetting.

But I DID NOT LIKE THE VAN! NO ANCHOR POINTS FOR TIE DOWNS! had to jerry rig a strap to keep the stuff from falling on the dog! Plus it was a PITA to unload! Ill stick to a truck next time. Sorry sirscrap! I tried it and im not a fan of the manvan! LOL

Did you take out the seats?

And it's a lot easier when it's your minivan. lol. An hey, lest you tried!

I've never had issues loading..2 side doors an the rear goes up. No seats so usually good on room. Your Van may Vary.

THE SEATS COME OUT!? LOL just kidding. Yeah they fold down, it wasnt that bad. But I prefer my truck! The only real pain was the no anchor points. That was the killer.

When I got my first minivan I had to sit for a moment in the lot as the shock of being a minivan owner subsided. ("I own a minivan..., me! I own a minivan, how'd THAT happen?!?")
I've been through two of them now, and am looking for a third. I like the fact I can make several stops for e-waste and be sure that the items I picked up on the previous stop(s) will still be there, and those items for re-sale/re-use will be dry. You can't say that about an open pick-up box, lol! There are times that a truck is a better option, but I know enough people that have trucks that could help me out in a pinch if I sold mine. Car? Nah. Truck? Meh. Minivan? Yep!
