I know guys its a bad thing , just gott back from my run , saw 10-12 tvs clipped all the cords . For me its not cost effective to recycle tvs , i used to but then i realized it wasnt worth it . The only place accepts tvs is 15 miles away and they only accept five a day . SUre you make 2-3 dollars and your left with alot of leaded glass. In my situation ive decided its not cost effective. You pick them up, load them off the truck take the jacket off , get the copper and other goodies out , rescrew the jacket , LOAD it back on the truck , drive it to the recycling center ( make multiple trips) after that you working for free. Alot of heavy lifting , you got to handle them 3-6 times . This is my opinion .This is why i
scrap METAL not TVS. Plus the garbage company doesnt take tvs but people still put them out
Plus jord theres no other scrappers to piss off in my town
