    Omgomg! My parents rock!!

So, because of the delayed garbage from the holiday, we didn't find much last night - had to go out assuming folks would still put stuff out and there was quite a bit out but not much scrap. I planned on going back tonight but mom just called me and said they are almost finished with the town, one more neighborhood to go. A guy was giving them some aluminum.

Now, the guy must have recognized my dad and/or mom because they are driving around in his SUV and dad or mom and I are always in my truck on my runs.

They went scrapping for me!!!!!!! The whole town!!!! Omg, they rock lol.

lmao, she keeps calling me with updates and the guy they got the AL from was yakking with my dad (I'd picked up from him before) and dad told him I'd driven last night but didnt get much and the guy said he'd save stuff for me now, Said he'd rather give it to me than the garbage man. this is the same street his neighbor across from him flags me down all the time and the other house up the street waits till I go by and puts stuff out after I turn around at the dead end so i can pick it up on the way out. He's gotten off his lawn mower to put out for me many times in the past!

guess I'll go hit the other town since they have that one covered!!

    *still chuckling*

Woot that's awesome NA! Free Labor, Good Neighbor tidings...it's all a win! Unless your dad likes the cooler puller to much, then you have to get him his own. haha!

When your parents need a vacation let me know, I could always use a couple folks good with people!

Sirscrapalot - The family that scraps together...gets to enjoy the cooler puller together!

My stepdad works early morning so if he sees something he will either stop and grab it or give me a call. Love my parents for that. They also pass along word of what I do at work and I have gotten a lot of business that way. My mom works at a hotel and my step dad and I work at a paper plant.
