Lost my job in November. New guy to the group.

Hello everyone. My name is Adam I have been reading for a couple weeks now figured it was a good time to introduce myself. As the title say I lost my full-time job in November. Things are not going so great right now but it will get better. I already have a successful ebay store Jackofalltrades selling laptop parts to hair care products but not enough to pay the bills. So to the point of my post. I already do some e waste due to the laptops I part out. I also fix laptops to resell. Any parts that do not work I save for e waste I have a decent pile right now. I am looking to get into scrapping full-time either until I find a job or until I no longer need one if all this goes well. Any advice would be appreciated.
    Thank you

Welcome adam, from ky. As everyone says to all new ppl, read as much as ur head can take. There is so much advise on here and it doesn't cost anything. U can become a master or even a dr. In scrapping from reading on here. Anything u can't find an answer for just ask. Hope everything goes good for u. Check out some of the escrap buyers on this forum. I am in thr process of trying a couple different ones. Good luck and be safe

Welcome, I myself am fairly new to this forum, but not at all new to scrapping. It is hard work, on my best days well, I know that I have worked an honest day (Dirtied clothes, sore muscles, and God knows I can not avoid cutting up my hands).....my advice, take anything metal! It is great to specialize in the things that you know you can make the most with, and of course in this line of work efficiency is key, but do not give up taking in anything that could make you a buck or two, if it plugs in, runs on batteries, or has metal, you take it! Work hard keep your chin up, and you will make some money! Attitude is everything! stay close to this forum and learn a lot. Don't let the slow days keep you from getting up and discovering the great days!
