I thought about that but mine is maybe a year or two old and then we moved into a rental that has a oven hood style and the Panasonic is now in storage in the garage. In order for that plan to work I would have to have two microwaves break before I would need the parts to fix mine. Probably not going to happen. Rather not hold onto a bunch of stuff either.
put the spare parts inside the microwave, then you'll have a 25 year standby one haha
