Lost my f250 in an accident (not my fault, decided to upgrade to a f350 crew cab) Looks like I wont be parking her inside at all LOL.

Nonsense! Looks great. Im upgrading soon too. Not a brand new truck, but a low milage late 2000's diesel. Enjoy the new rig!

And I'm Sorry for your loss! Lol

I remember my Chevy 4 door was 23'+ end to end, just like the old song, "Give me 40 acres and I'll turn this rig around". I had to laugh cause the dispatcher would give me an RV (camper) to haul that was shorter than my rig.

I know the guys at my dispatch terminal used to laugh at me when the dispatcher would send me out with a travel trailer that was shorter than my truck, they thought it was "just cute". Rode rougher than a cob.

I've had ford 4dr duallys for the last 4 or 5 years. Parking will take a little getting used to. Overall, I love my 2000 7.3.

i've been looking at 7.3l crew cabs, i need a crew cab cause i have my second munchkin on route in a few months. so the 2nd gen dodge won't cut it with the cab and a half is to small for 2 car seats. i hate fords but i hate gms just as much. almost bought a van. then i came to my senses that theirs is no going back. i still not sure what i'm going to do.. can't aford a 3gen dodge for a while.

Yeah you say you not loosing really with diesel being at 4 per gallon. When gas is only about .30.-.40 cents cheaper and the diesel will get more mpg you are actually loosing money on fuel. But you save it up front buy buing a gas but wont be long the money you saved will be gone and you will loose money like i have stated.
I wanted to get a gas v10 truck for one reason for free fuel.Since i can get fuel out of the cars i buy and such. But spending 2500 for another truck thats alot of diesel i can buy lol.
