Light bulbs. I still buy them, but I get to use a lot that I take out of lamps pulled from the trash.
Computer or computer parts/accessories. Microwave, TV, vacuum...
Computers, TVs, Monitors, light bulbs, refrigerator, dishwasher, RO system, rugs, vacuum, trailer, tires, rims, toys for the kids, silver, gold, list goes on and on.
Pipe fittings, brass couplers, air compressors, extension cords, trouble lights, nails, bolts etc.

tubs for sorting scrap, I take them out of the storage drawers I see in the trash.
I found a 2'x3' piece of 3/8" glass that I want to set into the center of a butcher block I acquired (5'x6' IIRC). I want to clean it up and turn it into a dining table
magnets
Lots of the above, but I'd add printers and ink. I get 10 or 15 printers every week from my thrift store. I could literally just use one of them til its ink cartridges ran dry, then go get another off the trailer & use it til it went dry.
Couple weeks ago I got an HP C4580 still in the box shronkwrapped & taped along with 4 each of HP74 & 75 ink. I'm set for a few months there!

Mower, grill, small trimmers, snow shovel, flower pots, garden hose, lawn furniture, vacuum, steam cleaner, steam mops, microwave, rugs, a crap load of end tables, coffee tables, dressers, rockers, over the years, lamps, dishes, glasses, coffee mugs, bikes, a vcr, a dvd player, radios...Christmas lights and those wire reindeer for the yard...fixed the lights and set up a whole stinking herd of reindeer one year for the kid. LOL
I know I'm forgetting stuff, but the list is almost endless anymore.
Let's just say I don't pay retail for anything anymore... ;-)

You know it's bad when something breaks and you have two extra stored away...or you go to the store to replace it, see the price...and walk out saying, I can wait another week or so.
If it's something you can't live without...as soon as you buy it...next week you'll find one better than what you bought.
I did buy a new dryer recently because after opening so many up to see what a fire hazard they become over the years, I refuse to use scrap ones.

Just about everything and anything, light bulbs are pilling up and I see that I'm not the only one getting them. Was trying to switch out some in the house to LED's, but stopped as have found so many incandescent's. Even finding brand new still in box, a lot of commercial places or making the switch over. I think they missed something! your not saving anything throwing working item's away. Should be switching over as old fail. They are even throwing inventory and spares, been giving them to friends and family by the box, a lot or the energy saving bulbs. LED's are very nice though, brighter, less energy, almost no energy to heat transfer, but get you in wallet. Master Bath had four recessed ceiling Halogen lights, good illumination but would get the room so **** hot, was like having heater on. Switched those all over last week after two had failed. Big time difference in quality of light and no more "Heaters". At $24 each was a little bit of sticker shock.
