- Laptop Motherbaords Worth more, less, or the same?

Spent the last hour searching and found nothing about this subject. I am wanting to find out if there is more value in the laptop motherboards then small socket Tower motherboards. Maybe worth the same as high grade mobo or more but less than hdd boards. I'm sure thsi question has been asked before but i have searched and searched and cannot find anything about it.
Could one of the pros chime in please?

Should go as high grade mobo at $3+ per pound. Check resale value first even if it is for a parts only machine. Most repair places will pay better than scrap value. Especially if it is a name brand as some parts are interchangeable between different models.
They are a pia to take apart so try and sell them as is. Check with your buyer on prices as well.

as scrap they should be worth a little more than green motherboards. I believe I get payed server board price for them if I have a few and separate them. I do clean them super well though. I take all the black sticker things off.
you probably need to have more than just one in your pile to get better pricing though

ive got about 30 dells and gateways im testing out and gettign ready to tear apart for ebay and scrap just trying to figure out where i woudl get the best price for them because the local guy only does 1.50 a pound for them same as any china or p4 board

My buyer pays $2lb for any and all mobos. Laptop or tower. Foreign or not. Was $2.50lb but gold dropped and so did the price.
If I didn't have bad luck, I'd have no luck at all...

Last time (in December) I got $3.50/lb for laptop MOBO's, which is a bit more than the desktop MOBO. Usually I don't take laptops apart.

the reason i take them apart is if its a bad mobo usually a good screen and if bad screen usually good mobo and i have been doin pretty good with the screens on ebay so far and holding on of the bad screen good mobo ones for another run
