Heck of a blizzard today. Think I'll hunker in and break stuff down.

Froze my tuckus off in 15 minutes of working outside yesterday and the spent three hours trying to get warm. Think it is an inside kind of day today.

Been in the negative -15 overhere where Im at in Chicago , wind chill making it seem way lower than that , this cold goes right to the clothing into the bone , yet some people still set their appliances by the curb . This doesn't stop us or a couple other scrapers from going to their route , weekend route is specially the rewarding one for us lately . Getting bout a ton and half on good weekends , lately I don't even want to scrap no more . Get to the scrap yard and just want to throw everything away but we have to take out all the motors and compressors and cut every wire off , it sucks but hey got to keep my wallet fat

LOL those temperatures sound horrible! It was 76 here yesterday in Sacramento. Bad part about the great weather we are having, is we're getting zero rain. Worst it's been in 500 years. Folsom lake is almost dry...dumb people are driving out onto it and getting stuck all the time.

yup, **** cold here too. -18 windchill. 20mph winds with gusts stronger.

I should have shoveled the driveway again last night. oh well.

I'm starting to run out of places to put the stuff. I need to rent a front end loader to move my piles or something.

    *bangs head*

WHY is it that the days I pull a huge run are so cold? Tonight is supposed to be as cold as it was last week when I got the frostbit fingers...what luck is this? Well, I got some lined gloves to wear tonight so hopefully that solves that problem.

I woke up, went out for coffee and ciggy and said to hubby, ''Really? just like last week?'' *sigh*

Hopefully I load up tonight like I did last week even with the cold, I ended up with 1009 lbs of steel from last weeks run when it was -13, shocked the hell out of me! I'm keeping my fingers crossed the cold is my good luck charm tonight as well! Think positive!!!
