    Scrap yard has been awesome

No waiting in line at the scrap yard lately, seems all the fair-weather scrappers are hibernating. I'm a self employed tax paying proud American and no sub-zero weather will slow me down. Here's to all my fellow hard workin' knuckle busters out there! (Just raised my glass in a toast)

I would kill for just one 70 degree day! Well, not literally... unless some idiot is in front of me at the scrap yard lol. Cheers!

I love winter scrapping as well. My problem is that I have not hauled one load in yet this year. It does not mean I am not busting my butt, just that the snow is preventing movement.

This is the first winter I've failed to yank machinery out of the frozen earth. Some of it will have to wait for warmer weather. Hate to leave a mess so I apologize and will schedule a return. Frozen ground is real hard on the skidsteer.

That's why I live in sunny Florida. It gets a little cool at night but the days are nice. No snow or ice to deal with. It's been down in the 20's a few times so far but that's alot better than some of you that has had to deal with -0. On the other hand it gets a little warm in the summer, about 95 avg.

    Scrap yard has been awesome

I'm hoping to do one next Friday, right before I go to the bar to watch the king of the hammers race.

I've been hoarding long enough on my metals...
working a 7:30-4:30 shift blows when you got scrap to haul.
