They use a clamp on crane as they go up. Clamp the crane/hoist to the highest section, grab a section on the ground, bring it up and set it then move the crane up another section. Adding guy wires as they go.Originally Posted by mikeinreco

I didn't get to see the post before it was removed, but if that tower was on the ground already, it wouldn't be too bad. If it was still standing, that's a paying job, not a freebie for sure.
