    Contract

Just landed a few sweet pickup schedule for medical facilities. They estimated about 1000 square foot storage units full of computers and medical equipment for pickup.

Last time we did one of those we got dictation equipment (ollld) and some wild looking machinery. Didn't know what most of it was, but it was fun sorting through it anyways.

We get these pickups every 1-2 months depending on their needs (hint hint to you ecyclers out there). Good source of escrap.

Struck out with our local hospital (part of a larger organization in metro Atlanta), apparently they have an arrangement for their material that covers all their facilities - at least for IT related stuff. I may try again with a facilities manager and see if there are opportunities for other things (I may have been too specific when I finally reached someone to talk to ... which was a story in itself...). Anyway, nice score and congrats.

The key is finding the right people to talk to.

I ended having to talk to the financial director and the IT director. Financial director is all about saving money, and the IT director is all about getting their "junk" removed.

Now we just got offered to do one more about an hour away (another 1000 square foot, stacked to the ceiling). Going to be quite the trip!

Will post some pictures after we get everything.
