I Got $2.75 For My #2 Copper in Florida

Hey y'all, for the longest time I have been holding out on giving up my copper until this week when the price turn for the better. I had to do a bit of research and calling around though, yards in these parts want your stuff dog cheap if you let them. It pays to be a respectable and patient scrapper and not one of those guys who wants the first buck he can get. Anyhow, call around and when you have a few 100 lbs like I had, make a deal in your favor. The decent yards will make offers. Happy scrapping Fellas & Gals.

Very nice. They're only paying $1.70 here. I'll sell mine to you and you can turn it for profit?

Well, I'll just keep stockpiling. About 4-500 pounds so far. I've put out the word - first offer over $3/LB. I'm in no hurry. Still got several hundred pounds worth to get from motors, microwaves and I don't know what all. Like money in the bank.
People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

Where are you located? If getting that stuff to me was feasible, I would be down.

Call around. It pays to have a couple hundred pounds, it's more attractive.

Where in florida did you find that price? It's been around 2.50# around here for a while but it might have gone up, I'll do some calling on monday.

I see you're out in the Tampa area, to get those prices you would have to come into Orlando.
