    More Snow!

Just when I thought things were getting over, first day off in weeks, snowing like crazy again. I can't wait for this garbage to stop so I can get to my garage. I've been going nuts sitting around all the time!

We were supposed to get hammered in Central Pa but its going to miss us and now we are supposed to only get like 2-4 inches instead of the 12-18 inches they were originally calling for.

Here in Toledo we were lucky and only got 3-4 inches. We broke the snow fall this year (previously 74 inches), but I'm sure that pails in comparison to what some of you guys get every year. I'm ready for spring and with it spring clean outs.

I was liking those 50 degree days we had a week ago. Trying to get back into the Christmas spirit now....NOT !!
I'm stubbornly going to go load machinery on my new-to-me trailer just to spite Old Man Winter. When the going gets tough, the tough get going. Now to convince my cold hands and sore back of my inspirational enlightenment.

Been like this all winter nothing but cold days. I never mind the snow just hate the cold.
I dont thinking ill be griping about the heat this year after one of the coldest winters I can remember in some time now.

Well after watching the weather it looks like there's a winter storm warning for Tn. It's raining now but temps are suppose to drop tonight. I'll bet there isn't a loaf of bread or a gallon of milk left in any stores around here. I just hope and pray I'll be able to make it to work tomorrow when I get in my truck and try do drive on the 1/4 inch of snow they've predicted.

I havn't seen a snow flake all year. It was in the mid to uper 70's today, just got in from out side and it's 59. You couldn't give me a ship load of computer servers to live in the north. Just had to rub it in, I can't help myself.

When I use to live upstate New York, I thought once the snow arrived things would drastically slow down. I was wrong. Don't let the snow get to you, push through.

Here in south Texas US, I was mowing the lawn and had the air conditioner going yesterday. Today, cold windy rain and a low of 29F. Still had a great day of scrapping: 3 tv's, lawn mower, 2 vac's, toaster oven, microwave, bed frames, bike, lamps, and a complete Bowflex machine in less than 3 hours. Also made a contact with an apartment manager to pick up a stove, ac, tire rims, and assorted shred.

And that's the difference between most of you guys and me.
First, You see snow as bad? I see $$.
I made over $5,000 this winter plowing. Next year I will be salting too.
Second, since scrapers don't like to work in snow (thanks) I get more phone calls in the winter from new customers.
You see snow as bad, I see opportunitys.

I'm getting rain an ice. I'd rather have snow. I could at lest build a snow castle to match my sand castle. Got to enjoy temps in the high 60s today, an tomorrow it'll be..28. Feh. An I work in cold or hot, so nya nya nya, mr snowplower. My cooler keeps me going no matter the temps outside or the weather. If it's hot I add ice. If it's cold I just break out the good stuff at the end of the day.

We got a winter advisory, 2 hours away in Norfolk they got a winter warning. Last time that happened I got 8 inches dumped on me. Had a lot of fun watching those in their big trucks get stuck. Me an the mini van just wen on by. I will say..people down here can't plow for crap. Should see the main road leading to my sandbar before the bridge. Pavement just torn up.

I'm glad I only have to deal with this stuff once every few years. Last time I had snow here was 5 years ago.

An..just saying..but who's down to go gunning for that **** groundhog? I'm thinking bbq.

Sirscrapalot - Not a fan of groundhogs.

Well I'm woke up a hour ago with no power and about an inch of ice. The electric company hasn't been dispatched to my area yet so there must be a lot without power. Got some coffee brewing on the wood stove so I'm good. Good until the kids wake up and realize their internet isn't working. I can only pray they sleep until the power is back on.

Just starting with heavy snow here in South Jersey. Working from home today which is nice. Snuck a microwave and old IMac computer in the garage last minute yesterday so I'll have something to keep me occupied for a little while. Bad thing is its going to be brutal cold here for next 48 hours.
